Regular cleaning of your ice maker ensures hygiene and prolongs its life:

After powering off, drain the water tank and remove the ice tray, filter, evaporator cover, and other components.

Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a neutral detergent and warm water, using a soft brush to remove scale and debris.

Soak the evaporator in vinegar or a dedicated descaling agent for 10 minutes to soften stubborn stains, then rinse.

Soak key components in disinfectant and rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Air dry all components, check the water pipes and drain outlets for blockages, and then reconnect them. A deep cleaning is recommended monthly, and regular surface wiping is recommended. Be careful to avoid scratching the interior with hard objects, and wear gloves when handling.
