Drain pipe system:
The melted water inside is led to the outside through a pipe, usually into a removable water collection tray.
Advantages: Simple structure and low cost.
Disadvantages: Manual water needs to be poured regularly, otherwise the water overflows and wets the ground, breeding bacteria. The drain pipe may also be blocked or frozen.
Automatic evaporation system:
The water is collected in the bottom evaporation tray. The high-temperature exhaust gas generated by the compressor will flow through this tray to heat and evaporate the water.
Advantages: Fully automated, no manual intervention required, more hygienic, worry-free, and avoid the risk of water leakage.
Disadvantages: The structure is slightly more complicated, the cost is usually higher, and it depends on the heat of the compressor (frequent door opening may affect efficiency).
