Commercial refrigerators are key equipment in the catering, retail and other industries. The following are common causes of poor refrigeration and countermeasures to help you quickly troubleshoot the problem.
1. Refrigerant leakage: insufficient "blood" in the refrigeration system
Refrigerant is the core medium for refrigerator refrigeration. If the pipeline is not welded tightly or long-term vibration causes leakage, the refrigeration cycle is blocked and the temperature in the cabinet cannot be reduced.
Judgment: The compressor runs for a long time but the temperature does not drop, and the condenser (radiator) temperature is abnormal.
Solution: Contact professionals to detect the leak and add refrigerant, do not operate it yourself.
2. Poor heat dissipation of the condenser: "heatstroke" of the cooling system
The condenser is responsible for releasing heat. If the surface is covered with oil and dust, or the surrounding ventilation is not smooth (such as placing it against the wall), the heat dissipation efficiency will decrease and the refrigeration capacity will be weakened.
Solution: Clean the condenser regularly with a soft brush and ensure that more than 10cm of ventilation space is left around the refrigerator.
3. Thick frost on the evaporator: The ice layer blocks the transmission of cold air
If the defrost function of the air-cooled freezer fails (such as damage to the heating tube or blockage of the drain pipe), the frost on the evaporator surface is too thick, which will hinder the circulation of cold air.
Solution: Manually cut off the power for defrosting, check the defrost timer or heating element, and clear the drain pipe.
4. Aging of the door seal: The cold air "sneaks away"
Deformation and damage of the door seal will cause cold air leakage, and the compressor will continue to operate at high load but it is difficult to cool down.
Detection: Clip A4 paper in the door gap. If it is easily pulled, the seal needs to be replaced.
Solution: Replace the original door seal and adjust the cabinet door hinge to ensure tight closure
5. Thermostat failure: "Command error" of the brain
Abnormal perception or control of the thermostat may cause confusion in the start and stop cycle of the compressor and fail to accurately cool.
Judgment: The temperature in the cabinet fluctuates greatly, or the compressor does not start for a long time.
Solution: Calibrate or replace the thermostat to avoid frequent opening and closing of the cabinet door.
Prevention is better than repair
Regular cleaning: clean the condenser, evaporator and drain every month.
Reasonable loading: do not store items more than 80% of the volume to ensure smooth circulation of cold air.
Daily inspection: pay attention to noise, frost and power consumption changes, and deal with them early.
